Buyer’s Edge LLC is licensed home inspectors Gibbon Welles Pender Sr. and John Abshire. They have played an important role in Western North Carolina resident’s home buying experience since 2007 and completed over 3,000 successful home inspections. With backgrounds in real estate and construction, sharing their knowledge of this industry is what they love to do.
Gibbon Welles Pender Sr
Gibbon Welles Pender Sr. is a Certified Master Inspector®. He brings a decade of home inspection experience, supported by a background in general contracting and real estate, to each home inspection. He relies on his knowledge of real estate investing and customer service to ensure your home is inspected right the first time. Gibbon has performed over 3,000 successful home inspections and knows how your home functions, from frame to finish. He is skilled at identifying areas that need improvement before they become expensive problems or obstacles to selling your home.
Gibbon enjoys spending time with his wife and four children when he’s not inspecting homes. He has a love for history and playing the bagpipes. He stays physically active and participates in triathlons. Gibbon also participates actively in his church as a Deacon and on mission trips.
John Abshire
John Abshire has over two decades of residential construction and general contracting experience. For twelve years, he also has served as a licensed North Carolina Realtor. He currently holds a North Carolina Broker’s License and Home Inspector License.
John is an Asheville-area native, and he enjoys being with his family, especially his four grandchildren. He is an active member of his church and supports mission trips around the world. Whether hiking, biking, kayaking, or fishing, he likes to relax while being immersed in the beauty of nature.
